Sarasota Heights features a good amount of high quality single-family homes, which typically sell for a median price of around $225,000. While this is higher than other places you might find, there’s a number of nearby amenities and benefits that make a home in Sarasota Heights attractive to own.

Immediately, you’ll find that this neighborhood is nearby to some quality schools, such as Southside Elementary School and Manatee High School. It’s also within walking distance of highly regarded beaches like the Siesta Key beaches, and more entertainment can be found by shopping around Tamiami Trail. These factors alone make owning a home here attractive for many residents and potential residents.

There’s a brilliant mix of new and antique homes available in the area as well. As this neighborhood dates back all the way to sometime around 1935, it’s no surprise that there’s a unique mixture of architectural styles at play with the homes in this area. Two national parks within a short distance include North Bridge Outlook Park by the coast, and Red Rock Park, which is popular with families and pet-owners.

Those who enjoy being a part of a diverse and interesting community might find themselves comfortable in this neighborhood. There’s several interesting facts about the residents who comprise most of Sarasota Heights. Ethnically, most of the residents descend from western Europe, which includes individuals of German, Irish, English, and Italian descent.

At home, a larger than average amount of the residents speak Vietnamese, and there’s also more residents who hail from Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania than you typically find in an American neighborhood, which gives this community it’s own unique feel.
